Biogeographical Profiles of Shorebirds This site provides an excellent overview of this U.S. Geological Society mid-North American continent ornithological project. The distribution patterns of enroute migrants in interior wetlands during migration are examined. Information on the spatial and temporal occurrence and habitat requirements for individual species and groups of species is offerend in hopes that it will be used in guiding management efforts.
